Smoothies!

Smoothies have popped up and are Ripe and Ready! Smoothies are an early ripening Golden Delicious. They have all those fun qualities of a Golden Delicious, sweet, crunchy, great for applesauce and pies. They just pop up early so we don’t have to wait until the end of September to start enjoying them.

Gravensteins are ALMOST gone. We expect them to be picked clean in the next 2-3 days. If you were holding out for cooler weather to come pick these, now is the time.

We plan to have Bartlett Pears pre-picked at the stand by this Thursday. These pears are delicious and ready to be eaten. No special ripening instructions for this variety.

Tomatoes, Peppers, and Watermelon are still plentiful, as well as our new addition this year, u-cut flowers. We of course will have our sunflower stroll in about a week, but our new u-cut flowers are a beautiful assortment of Zinnias, Cosmos, Amaranth, Celosia, and more! They are blooming now and ready to be cut.

Gala and Watermelon

The Gala and Watermelon are both ready for picking!
The Gala are the perfect apple for all of those back to school lunches. They are just the right size for kiddos and are perfectly sweet and crunchy. They are also great for applesauce and pies.
Watermelon are ripe and wonderful! We have our classic seedless variety again this year for u-pick, and will also have a couple varieties of our seeded pollinators pre-picked at the stand.
Gravensteins are still being picked as well and we should have them for a few more days.
Tomatoes are plentiful! The vines are full! We also have a large amount of we-pick ready at the stand in case it is too warm to u-pick or if you happen to be short on time. We have small buckets full as well as larger boxes full and ready!

Regular Season Hours Are Back

We made it through the high heat! Which means we are back to regular season hours. Mon-Sat 8am-6pm and Sunday 11am-6pm.

Our Gravensteins are still plentiful and looking great! We expect to have them for picking for a few more days. But when they are gone, they are gone for the season. So make sure to come pick while we still have them!

Tomatoes and Peppers thrived in the heat and are looking great as well. The vines are loaded with red ripe tomatoes and huge green peppers ready to be eaten, canned and made into salsa.
