Gravenstein Apples Are All Picked! Next Apples Ready in a Few Weeks. Tomatoes Available to Pick Now!

Thanks for your excitement about the Gravensteins.  They are done now.  Hope you guys are enjoying delicious applesauce and pies!

We have a short break then, the next apples ready will be Ruby Mac and Gala.  They are usually ripe sometime around the end of August.

Our tomato hours until the main apple season starts at the end of the month will be:  Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm.  Saturdays- Self-serve but usually someone is around or our phone numbers are on the office door.  Sundays- Closed.

Gravenstein Update! Lots of Roma Tomatoes! Last Day of U-Pick Blueberries is Wed, Aug 9th.

Our hours for apples and tomatoes right now Mon-Fri are 8-5.  The next few Saturdays will be self-serve because we are tired :)  Closed Sundays.  Working too hard this summer in our commercial blueberries :)  But one of us is around the house or property so we have our cell phone numbers posted on the office door.  Just give us a call and we'd be happy to run out and help if we can to give change or weigh you.

Just walked the Gravenstein row.  You'll find some small to medium apples left if you bend down and look up inside the tree, especially the south half of the row. 

The last day to pick u-pick blueberries will be Wed, Aug 9th.  Open 9am to 12pm.  Thanks for all the word of mouth advertising you gave us this year!

Those tomatoes ripened faster than I expected so there is a good amount of Roma tomatoes out there now to pick!  Especially check out the Monica variety row (5th and 6th row in), it is loaded.  $1.00/lb to start the season.

The tomatoes are at the same location as the u-pick apples.  4925 Rockdale St NE, Brooks OR 97305.  Follow the gravel road back and the tomatoes are on the right.  (Opposite side as the apples).  We put some signs leading you back! 

The main apple season should start around the end of August with Ruby Mac and Gala.

Gravenstein Apples Open Friday (Aug 4) at 8am! U-Pick Tomatoes Too!

Come pick Gravenstein apples starting Friday at 8am!  A heads up, last year they were all picked by noon but we think there are more out there this year so hopefully they will last a bit longer.  I will send an email, post on Facebook and our blog when they do run out.  After Gravenstein, we have a couple weeks of a break before Gala and Ruby Mac are ready.

Gravenstein is an medium tart, old-time apple that is well known for pies, applesauce and baking. 

U-Pick tomatoes will also be opening Friday am!  There is not enough yet to do big amount of saucing, etc but you can definitely find a some ripe out there.  Come take a look when you are here for apples!  We will be open Sat 8am to 12pm for tomatoes but closed Sundays until apple season gets going full speed. 

U-Pick blueberries are still going strong too.  We will see what the heat does but we are guessing we will be open until August 12th.  Aug 2-5th we are open limited hours, 9am to 12pm, due to the heat. Depending on the weather, we may go back to 9am to 4pm the following Wed-Sat.
