Open thru Sunday, Nov 6th or until we run out of Granny Smith.

We have Granny Smith apples still to pick!

We will be self-serve all this week and closed for the season at the end of the day, Sunday, Nov 6th.  If we run out of apples before that, I will post here!

Please pay at the office after you pick.  Come prepared with the correct change or a check, just in case you don't see anyone around.

The 3 rows of Granny Smith are marked with a PICK HERE sign.  When you park, the Granny Smith are the row directly in front of you and the 2 short rows to the north.   All the rest of the orchard has been picked clean.

Hazel says, "These Granny Smith sure are good!  Let's go pick some more Mom!"

Since our Apple Festival was cancelled a few weekends ago, we were invited to share our applesauce at the Gilbert House in Salem for their Halloween Bash for kids.  It was a really fun time seeing all the kids in their costumes and hearing what everyone's favorite applesauce was.  The sweeter applesauces took the prize!  Golden Delicious, Gala and Jonagold were the Top 3!

Wow, A Couple Nice Days this Weekend to Pick Apples!

Are there still apples?

Yes! We have Gold Rush, Braeburn, Rome, Granny Smith, Fuji and Red Delicious.

The majority of the apples left are great keepers for over the winter!

How much longer will we have apples?

We are thinking at least 2-3 more weeks.  But we'll keep the orchard open, at least self-serve, if there are still good quality apples available, so it could be even longer.  If there is no blog post that we are closed for the season, then we still have apple available!

It should be half decent weather this weekend with no rain!  We have grass rows but come prepared with boots or shoes you can get dirty.  Most areas aren't too bad but we have one corner of the orchard that is always a little wetter than the rest and there is lots of apples over there!

We also got a new sign for our farm!!  Exciting for us because we have wanted to do this for awhile.  We had a sign years ago but it just got too old since it was wood.  Thanks to Joe Dini from NI Corp. in Brooks for making the sign holder!

Well here is a teaser of our apple slingshot for next year's apple festival!  My kids sure enjoyed it!
