Final Day of 2022 Season

Today is our FINAL DAY of the 2022 Apple Season. What a season it has been! With the long wet spring we had, we had to be extremely patient at the beginning of the season. All of the apples averaged 10 days late to ripen! Thank you all for waiting with us so patiently to enjoy our harvest.
It was an incredible year! We were thrilled to see returning customers as well as many new faces enjoying their time in the orchard. We loved visiting with you all and learning so much about the people that enjoy our orchard as much as we do. It really brings us so much joy to get to visit with everyone and hear all of your stories. We had people visiting from near and far. Some as far away as Florida and Alaska!
We are especially grateful to our staff for working tirelessly throughout the Apple season. This year we were much busier than we could have ever hoped for, and they were eager and happy to jump in at the stand and worked so hard to help make this season a great success.
You may have all noticed throughout our Apple season that our last shop bay started as stark white at the beginning of the season and had more and more color on it as the season went on. We commissioned a mural for the garage bay and are overjoyed with the end result. Pictured is Kallan, who began her mural for us on the shop door on Aug 23. She worked for two solid months and completed the mural in late October. Kallan is 9 years old and the Great Granddaughter of Phillip Beilke, our founder. We loved watching her work and put in the hours to leave her mark on the farm.
We now start our next season of Pruning and Planning. Our Apple trees are hand pruned every year and that takes 3-4 months. We also spend that time planning for next year. We love the planning season and being creative with what we will try out next season. We look forward to seeing you all again in 2023!
