The weekend is here and it is bringing the heat! We will be staying open regular hours this weekend and ready for those that want to still venture out. For those that want some Apples, but don't want to pick in the heat, we have some we-pick Beilke Boxes ready at the stand! A we-pick Beilke Box is $20.
Tomatoes are doing well, and ripening a bit more each day. These hot days will really encourage the ripening so we should be seeing more and more available on the vines.
The Watermelon patch is being closed for the weekend for ripening. We were so thrilled to see how many of you were excited to come pick them! We did two plantings this year, so our second planting is ALMOST ripe. We should be able to open the Watermelon patch again in a week.

OPEN LABOR DAY
Not only are we open regular hours for Labor day, but we have also added two varieties to the Ripe and Ready list!
Ruby Mac is a fun, crisp, sweet-tart apple that is great for eating, baking, and applesauce.
Smoothies are an early ripening Golden Delicious and so great for applesauce, as well as eating and baking. Fresh off the tree this variety shines!

Honeycrisp and Watermelon
The Honeycrisp are ready! We were so excited to test them this morning and find that three of the rows are Ripe and Ready! Honeycrisp are a sweet, crunchy, delicious apple perfect for eating and making apple sauce. They go fast every year so don't miss your chance to come pick some!
Tomatoes and peppers are doing great and ripening more and more everyday.
Our Watermelon are also ready! We have our super juicy, delicious seedless variety in the watermelon patch for u-pick and we discovered you all also enjoy our seeded pollinators, so we have those pre-picked at the stand as well. Make sure to check in with our orchard staff to ensure you are picking a watermelon that is ready.
